When a family asks about photographs, Dearly Told can discuss coverage with their designated contact and coordinate the practical details with you. The family’s consent, the venue’s requirements, and the service schedule guide the plan.
Identify who can approve the coverage and which guests, rooms, rituals, or private moments must not be photographed. Casket or deceased-person photographs are never assumed; they require an express request and an agreed plan.
Share arrival access, suitable positions, movement restrictions, and your instructions about sound or flash. We plan unobtrusive coverage and follow the officiant’s directions. If a moment cannot be photographed, we leave it unphotographed.
Confirm the service order, any honors, and transfers to a cemetery or reception. Coverage hours and location allowances are agreed before booking; the photographer does not direct or delay the ceremony.
The family receives the private gallery and decides who receives access. A referral or venue’s involvement does not grant permission for public use of the photographs. Separate written permission is required for promotional use.
The service date, venue address, approximate times, your professional contact information, and confirmation that the family wants to discuss photography are enough to begin. Please do not send sensitive family records, photographs, or personal details without their permission.
Photography starts at $1,800. Tribute films made from family materials and custom memorial websites are available separately. Their production deadlines must be confirmed; they are not the same as funeral livestreaming, which Dearly Told does not provide.
We confirm availability, family approval, coverage, payment arrangements, and delivery in writing.
